During my recent stay at Libertg Hotels Spa, I was excited by the promise of culinary innovation, but the experience left me wanting more. The outdoor swimming pool and the games room offered a pleasant distraction, yet my focus was on the dining experience. Breakfast was advertised to begin at 7:30, but when I wandered down at 8:00, I found it a challenge to locate a staff member. After some time, I was finally seated and waited an additional 30 minutes for my meal. I opted for the eggs, an arepa, and some fruit. While the concept was appealing, the execution felt basic at best. The bowl of sugary cereal, served with what resembled radioactive yoghurt, didn't help the impression. Although the accommodation featured comfortable beds and I appreciated the bar's offerings, the restaurant's ambiance did not quite elevate my experience. I had high hopes for a gourmet getaway, but it seems the culinary ambitions need a tad more refinement.
